"The code reds will continue until the Twitter vibes improve." A moment of silence for the software engineers doomed to another month of 9-9-6 until the 5.3 release.

I dont really see all the praise for anthropic models. I been building full stack apps with llms since o1 and anthropic models while decent were always lagging behind opengpt on complex tasks.

The main reason to use them was they were faster and well integrated with cursor.

Now things changed a bit. Llms became so good that opus 4.5 is decently competent. On par with codex. So can use either one.

For general purpose queries though i can't stand claude. It meandering, wordy and fails to deliver, unless coaxed with multiple prompts into giving straight answers.

I was playing last month with gemini 3 pro. And as general purpose llm its quite good . And there are some neat tools in google stack( stitch for example)

But I think i will be returning back to openai models. They were always most useful, most direct and precise for me. And while rivals are usable now, still chatgpt performs the best for me
