On GPT-5: unfortunately it seems you have to select "Thinking" if you want decent answers because without it the underlying router does not select thinking mode enough and I have had multiple instances of very consequentially wrong medical answers already in the last day of using this, it seems in part at least to the less intelligent model being selected.

Been coding with GPT5 all day. Unfortunately I'm not seeing a significant improvement over previous models. It's slightly better around the edges, but I'm still falling into most of the same old failure modes of implementing pointless functions or losing track of flow in roughly the same situations, so not seeing a significant expansion of the area where it can solve my problem.
